Fastems flexible manufacturing systems

The first Fastems flexible manufacturing system was delivered in 1982 and it is still in use!

Since 1982 Fastems has delivered over 800 flexible manufacturing systems (FMS). Over 2000 machine tools have been integrated in our systems and many of the systems are still in use. The first system delivered in 1982 is still making parts for AGCO SISU POWER™ engines. Fact that the system is still running is a good example of what Fastems industrial services is able to do.

Fastems robotics

Fastems started with robotics in 1990. Since then we have delivered a variety of robotics solutions for different customer needs, such as machine tending, deburring, assembly, welding, and material handling. During this period, Fastems has delivered more than 1500 robotics solutions. In addition to hardware and software, Fastems offers comprehensive services: complete project management, training, support, and maintenance.

Fastems industrial services

Fastems industrial services range from single service gigs to outsourced service functions. Fastems industrial services employs 120 professionals around the world. Service footprint is impressive: Over 900 FMS systems with 2000 integrated machine tools from 50 manufacturers, 3000 stand-alone machine tools, 500 Fastems machine tools, over 1200 robots and robotics solutions, 300 injection molding machines and so forth. In addition, Fastems offers training courses for flexible manufacturing systems, Fanuc robots and Fagor, Siemens, and Heidenhain controls. Fastems has training facilities in Finland and Sweden.
