Horizon 2020 Program Grants EUR 32 Million for Tampere-Based R&D Projects

With a combined budget of EUR 32 million, the EU’s Horizon 2020 program has granted funding for two massive Tampere-based projects, the TRINITY project and DIH2.

Coordinated by neighboring institutions VTT Technical Research Centre and Tampere University, both projects aim to provide SMEs with new technical and standardized solutions in robotization, tailored training, and access to Europe-wide competence networks.

Fastems is thrilled to take part as business partner in the TRINITY project and sees the building of digital innovation hubs like these as key to creating meaningful solutions. Not only will TRINITY and DIH2 boost advanced robotics education and activities in Tampere, the projects will also offer funding and expertise for ongoing development in agile manufacturing.
