Tons of tradition, innovation in series.
METAV, the leading exhibition for metalworking technologies in Germany’s biggest conurbation, will be taking place for the 21st time from March 10th to the 13th, 2020 at its traditional location in Düsseldorf.
What began here in 1980 has evolved over the last 40 years to become an indispensable part of the technological trends that have affected virtually all aspects of production technology – within a radius of 300 kilometres of the exhibition’s location.
So, 40 years of METAV has given rise to this sector’s marketplace in the direct vicinity of metalworking manufacturers and users.
We are delighted to introduce you to Fastems’ latest offering RoboCellONE at the HALTER CNC Automation booth E64 in hall 4. This ergonomic CNC Machine tending cell aims to improve part quality, heighten manufacturing productivity and reduce cost-per-part.

Important update of February 28, 2020
Today we received the following information from the organiser of METAV, the VDW:
Currently, the authorities are assuming that the coronavirus (Covid-19) will continue to spread in Germany, especially in North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition, the Federal Government today decided on a strict collection of data from people entering Germany from crisis areas including Italy.
This situation could not have been foreseen by the VDW as the organiser of METAV.
Since yesterday, this greatly changed situation in Germany and has led to cancellations at short notice by concerned exhibitors. There is also increasing feedback that companies are prohibiting their employees from participating in major events as a precautionary measure.
In addition, there is a high probability that major events in Germany will soon be banned by the authorities, as has already happened in Switzerland. Taking this into consideration, the VDW now sees itself forced to postpone METAV 2020. A new date for the event is currently being coordinated with Messe Düsseldorf.
