We are looking for new talent as System Support Specialist Trainee

As a System Support Specialist Trainee, you will be part of Fastems’ highly qualified global technical support team. Over 90% of customer issues are solved remotely without site visits. In this role, you will support customers using Fastems’ high‑tech automation products and solutions.

You will work closely with the Services organization as well as other Fastems teams, including product development and global project management. The role offers a broad view of Fastems’ business and close cooperation across functions.

Your main responsibilities include customer service, technical support, remote troubleshooting using online connectivity and diagnostic tools, and work coordination. This position provides a cross‑functional view of industrial automation and the opportunity to work with customers representing cutting‑edge manufacturing environments. You will develop practical troubleshooting skills and gain valuable experience in global service operations.

To be successful in this position:

  • A strong customer‑oriented mindset and good teamwork skills are essential.

  • Knowledge of automation or production‑related software, especially PLC / TwinCAT, is considered a strong advantage.

  • A suitable technical education background is expected

  • Fluent written and spoken English is required, while German or other language skills are considered an advantage
