Important update of March 4, 2020
“In connection with the coronavirus, the organising partners of the TechniShow, FPT-Vimag and Jaarbeurs have had intensive discussions over the past few days about the upcoming edition, which will take place from 17 to 20 March 2020. For ESEF Maakindustrie there has also been consultation with several parties.
TechniShow and ESEF Manufacturing Industry 2020 will be relocated – www.jaarbeursnewsroom.nl.
An increasing number of exhibitors have announced that they will not be able to participate in the TechniShow or ESEF Maakindustrie because of the corona virus, either because they are part of an international organisation or because of individual considerations. The organising parties have had frequent contact with stakeholders on this matter. It has been established that due to the cancellations both the TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie were unable to offer a fully-fledged concept for the upcoming editions in March. Therefore, after careful consideration, it was decided that the upcoming editions of the TechniShow and ESEF Maakindustrie will be relocated. The new date has been set on Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 September 2020 in Jaarbeurs Utrecht.
For Jaarbeurs the guidelines of the government and the RIVM on holding events are leading. However, on a case-by-case basis it will be examined whether there is reason and possibility to relocate a trade fair or event.”
