HR Trainee – People & Culture

Fastems’ tight-knit People & Culture team is looking for an extra pair of hands to help with diverse human resource-related tasks. In this position, you’ll get to work in the heart of Fastems’ most valuable asset: our people.

HR Trainee is an entry-level professional who handles the daily HR duties for Fastems. HR Trainee helps all other People & Culture team members with different tasks, particularly the HR Specialist with record and documentation maintenance, work time system support, tasks related to payroll, providing reports, and giving clerical support to employees. Most of the daily work involves following accurate instructions, keeping close attention to details, problem-solving, and seeking information from others to complete the tasks. HR Trainee’s daily work involves helping with administrative issues coming through HR Service Desk, email, phone calls, or face-to-face. HR Trainee helps ensure that every issue is taken care of and operational targets and the People & Culture team’s service standards are met. This job requires fluent Finnish and English skills. The support from other HR colleagues is self-evident; we work together as a team to ensure the best HR service possible. This position offers a possibility to grow into a future HR professional in a supportive environment.

We hope to find a great addition to our team as soon as possible and to work part-time during spring and full-time during summer. In addition, we hope for willingness to work possibly after summer as well. This position suits perfectly a university or polytechnic student interested in HRM, business, leadership, or other relevant fields. At Fastems, you can grow and develop yourself to the next level!
