Basic training course for FMS operators
Course description
The course prepares the operators to start production with an FMS and operate it under typical conditions. Demonstrations and exercises include entering all the data that is needed for automatic production. The operators practice using all the system components in manual and automatic modes as well as preventing faults and recovering from error situations.
The course consists of the following subjects:
- Operating an FMS safely
- Operating the system components in automatic and manual modes
- Entering pallet and fixture data
- Managing NC programs
- NC program information
- Creating part master data
- Creating and editing manufacturing routes
- Creating production orders
- Recovering from typical error situations
- Contacting service
