Storage automation can speed up and ease the casting process. The foundry is an inhospitable environment and the work is hard and wearing. Cast parts and their moulds can be automatically transferred to storage until the cast has cooled down. Cast parts can be stored in the automatic warehouse until they are needed in production. Casting sand can be processed automatically and casting pallets can be routed to re-casting.
