Illustrative and easy-to-use FPM user interface enhances daily production operations
FPM control system sets FMS flexibility to new level by having two order processing schemes that can be used parallel: scheduled orders and continuous orders. Scheduled orders are typically customer orders with defined due date and quantity. Continuous orders are typically pull-type production lots common in lean manufacturing. Together they create a perfect platform for agile manufacturing. Continuous order processing model optimizes the lean production flow while scheduled orders provide the agility; a scheduled order is treated as an "express order" and it automatically bypasses continuous orders.

FPM control system lets user select on which automation level he wants to operate. Full automatic operation needs only production order input after which manufacturing starts and operators are clearly advised what to clamp at loading stations. Operator can however control what pallet-jobs enter each machine or station and in which processing order they enter. |
The graphical user interface is illustrative and simple to use. It has a wide wizard support for seldom used operations. All vital information is presented at one work space and user doesn’t have to switch between different windows or pop-ups while performing for example clamping tasks. |
